Action Button
Problem: Action Button is a widget that lives on a news site making it easy to take action on issues that are important to the user. At the time I came on board, it was an established product, but new to public-facing audiences. Action Button needed a social presence to gain trust, contribute to the conversation and be relevant. Furthermore, we wanted to provide social users with a way to engage with the issues and be inspired to act.
Strategy: As a digital company, we wanted to prioritize a coherent, on-brand presence online. Seeking to connect with key audiences where they were, we turned to social media.
Execution: After a robust competitor analysis, we determined the niche, visual style, and voice of the Action Button brand. I designed templates which we used on key days to raise awareness, spread information, and motivate folks to action.
